Enphase is seeking an Staff Reliability Engineer to help maintain our global reliability program across all products and lifecycle phases. This role will ensure that product performance, durability and risk are fully understood, quantified and managed in alignment with business objectives. This engineer will also help perform various design of experiments and conduct early accelerated product life test. This role offers daily challenges in a fast-paced, collaborative environment as we seek viable solutions to real-world problems. In this role, you will advice test engineers to develop reliability test setups, improve product qualification process, lead early-stage de-risking of reliability issue, drive testing of new parts and product innovation. The candidate must be self-motivated and able to deliver quality products on time.
What you will do
- Help standardize reliability methodologies, tools, and processes across regions and products.
- Drive and implement solutions to address reliability issues to deliver product on time
- Design of experiments to eliminate the risk associated with new parts and products
- Drive DFMEA for the company.
- Develop Reliability models and validation frameworks.
- Manage accelerated life testing (HALT, HASS, fatigue).
- Provide risk assessment to directors and executives to help them make go/no-go decisions under conditions of incomplete or evolving data.
- Develop and execute functional and system level testing of products to meet quality requirements
- Collaborate with production engineers and quality team to improve product qualification process
Establishing and maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of all work including status updates to summarize project highlights.
Who you are and What you will bring
- A MS or PhD in Electrical or Reliability Engineering or equivalent is required. Provide record of academic excellence or equivalent recognition in professional achievements.
- Proven ability to apply scientific problem-solving techniques with strong attention to detail
- Experience in design of experiments of accelerated life testing
- Hands-on experience with installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical equipment
- Experience with power supplies, inverters and high voltage systems
- Capable of developing simulation tools to predict quality test results
- Experience interacting with field application, engineering, and product management teams
- Good written and verbal communication skills
